The Bergstaden design interprets the the traditional town of Røros from a modern technology perspective utilizing of pixels. The design was conceived by the design group GLiCK consisting Linn Øistad, Gjertrud Grødem Stikbakke, Christina Tønnesland and Kaja Kristiansen.
